The Kentucky Department of Insurance will issue an insurance license to individuals who:
- Are at least eighteen (18) years old
- Have completed an approved prelicensing education course designated for the particular exam/license applied for
- Have set up an eServices account to track your licensing process
- Have submitted a completed online application through NIPR
- Have passed the proper licensing examination
- Meets all other applicable license requirements
- Submits proof of citizenship
- Have not committed an act for which a license may be denied, see here
