  • Take and pass your licensing exam (Kentucky Department of Insurance eServices)
  • Request a criminal background check from the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) via electronic request through AOCFastCheck online portal.
  • As of the date of publication, Kentucky does not require fingerprinting to hold an insurance license.
  • Apply for your license (Online licensing service: NIPR)
