Fingerprinting Services
(after you pass your exam)
You obtain your fingerprints through Pearsonwest, the fingerprint service company contracted by Minnesota. Preregistration is required before visiting a IDEMIA location in Minnesota. Get fingerprinted after passing your exam and immediately before applying for your license.

Tip: Try to plan your fingerprinting after you pass your exam and immediately before you apply for your license because the fingerprint data is available to the Minnesota Department of Commerce for only 30 days.
