Texas does not require prelicensing education for those taking the General Lines – Life, Accident and Health exam, the Life exam, the General Lines – Property and Casualty exam, or the Personal Lines – Property and Casualty exam. However, the Texas insurance exams are not easy. You must take them seriously and dedicate several weeks of study time with some very good exam prep materials in order to succeed on the exam.
