You must apply for your license after you pass your exam. In Arkansas, you must submit a completed application within 12 months of passing the exam. You apply online through an organization called National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR).

However, remember that the Arkansas Insurance Department (AID) is the official agency in Arkansas that you should rely on for information regarding insurance licensing matters. (Make sure you obtain your criminal background check immediately before you apply for your license.)
