The Nevada Division of Insurance will issue an insurance license to individuals who:
- Are at least eighteen (18) years old
- Have passed the proper licensing examination
- Have completed a Fingerprint Background Check (Fingerprinting should be completed within 6 months before applying for a license)
- Have submitted a completed online application with appropriate fee (exam certificate is valid for 12 months from date of passing the exam)
- Meets all other applicable license requirements
- Submits proof of citizenship
- Have not committed an act for which a license may be denied, see here
