Yes. Texas requires you to be fingerprinted and a background check. This is done through the company that Texas has authorized. You may obtain your fingerprints throughout Texas at “IdentoGO By MorphoTrust” locations. Appointments are required. Save your receipt from the fingerprinting process because you must submit a copy of it with you insurance license application. The fee to be finger printed is $41.50 (subject to change).
